Behold The King
The word "King" is used more in John 18 and 19 than anywhere else in the book. John wants you to understand who Jesus is. He is the true King who has come to give His life in place of ours. That just like Barabbas, we are guilty and deserve to be condemned, but the innocent is condemned in place of the guilty so that we might be given life.
