daughter of W.A. "Alex" Taylor, Sr. of Taylor Machine Company in Louisville. The Taylor family has deep roots in French Camp and a long history of support for French Camp Academy. They are responsible for building, and recently remodeling the Taylor Home for boys.

Historical Highlight Luncheons are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at French Camp Presbyterian Church, featuring a speaker who shares some aspect of French Camp's history and a delicious, home-cooked meal for a $3 donation. The public is invited.
