Our Prayer for Renew

Jesus, thank you that all you have created is an extension of your very goodness.
You are the source and creator of all good things.
You alone can satisfy our soul’s desires.
You alone are the answer to all our heart’s longings.

We confess we easily are misled by the wrong answer to our desires.
Give your children the ability to recognize our desires and yield them to you.
In turn, let your spirit and life fill us with power, love and enable us in this journey.
You sustain, renew, and bring forth life in new ways.

Give us, and those to whom we will minister, hearts that will surrender to you the only giver of true life.
Give us strength as eagles to overcome the weapons of our enemy.
Give us hearts with wisdom eyes that will discern and perceive the enemy’s schemes.

We want your life, truth, and freedom of spirit to rest upon us in new ways.
Bring freedom to your children. You have called us; you are at work.
Conform us to yourself. You alone can secure your glory.
Meet us, change us, and prepare for us a greater work towards each other and furthering of the gospel.
